How does AltV6 work?

AltV6 works by providing a proxy network that allows you to scrape the web using dedicated IPv6 addresses. Our network provides a IPv4 backconnect (along with A record: dc.altv6.com) to ensure that you can always connect to our network, even from IPv4-only networks.

Does AltV6 support IPv4-only websites?

No, AltV6 focuses only on IPv6. We don't have IPv4 pools, and we actually don't plan to support IPv4 in the future. If your website don't have AAAA records, you'll not be able to scrape it with AltV6.

Be sure to use our IPv6 checker to check if a website supports IPv6 before purchasing a plan. Alternatively, you can use command-line tools like dig or ping6 to check if a website has AAAA records.

What is the pricing for AltV6?

Our pricing is based on the amount of data you use (measured in GB). The minimum plan starts at $5/month for 5GB of data.

What type of proxies does AltV6 provide?

We provide only data-center proxies for now.

We currently have a single location in Ashburn, Virginia, USA. Adding more locations is on our roadmap, Europe is next on the list.
